Patrick Henry Legacy

Patrick Henry is considered the "Voice" of the American Revolution. He stood for the individual liberty of his fellow Americans and used his powerful oratory skills to move colonial leaders to action against tyranny. Sadly, he is all but forgotten in the annals of history. Our children know George Washington was the first president of our nation, Thomas Jefferson was the writer of the Declaration of Independence, and Benjamin Franklin was a great statesmen and inventor, but do they know how important Patrick Henry was to the American Cause? When Henry proclaimed "Give me liberty, or give me death!" He called a nation into action!!!

The Patrick Henry Legacy Program works to keep Patrick Henry's strong values of free speech, individual liberty, courage, love of county, faith, family, and righteous character alive in the hearts of all patriotic Americans.
